of Cancer Patient: The author undergoes the first of six chemotherapy cycles. He is admitted to Auckland Hospital and spends seven days in a hospital bed, during which he loses track of time and misplaces two days. He survives physically, with very little in the way of nausea and vomiting, but collapses psychologically. Click to read Note: if your travel agent suggests that having chemo would be a fun thing to do on your holiday, then my recommendation would be to go get a different travel agent. That said, my own experience of chemotherapy was, on balance, not too bad. Your mileage may vary. |
