Hugh Walter Gilbert Cook is the author of Wizard War and the Chronicles of an Age of Darkness. Hugh Cook says:- "For me, 2005 was the year of three books. I finished off my novel Bamboo Horses, a fantasy novel with murder mystery elements, set in a world in which people eat with scissors rather than with chopsticks. "I also wrote the autobiographical medical memoir Cancer Patient (write what you know, isn't that the old dictum?) "And, additionally, I wrote a long novel which I'm billing as "the ultimate fantasy novel", a novel about, amongst other things, suicide bombers and the war on terror. "To read this novel you need a fully-grown adult mind. If you can't handle a book which includes, amongst other things, torture and ultraviolence, then don't even think about it. Similarly, if you're afflicted by good taste, then steer well clear; this book contains, featured only briefly, fortunately, a three-meter condom gloopy with elephant ejaculate. Not your cup of tea? Then head on down to the local library and ask after a lady writer by the name of Jane Austen." The Ultimate Fantasy Novel First 30 chapters (out of 76) to read online for free. |
